I had meetings planned all day today and a noon run sounded impossible, that is until the weather cleared up.  Managed to move things around sand get out for a run up City Creek Canyon. Moderate effort up and moderate to light effort down.

Time Up: 31:02  Av pace: 8:36

Time Down: 23:38  Av pace: 6:33

Ran into my old yoga instructor (she's not old...I haven't been to her class almost a year) on the run down. She's 8.5 months pregnant and if she didn't tell me she was pregnant I would of never guessed.  She was Miss Utah in 2000 and is obviously genetically proned to always look slender.

Sounds like she's had her calling and election made sure.

That sounds like a fun run. How much of an incline was it? That is pretty cool that you bumped into your old yoga instructor. Always good to see an old friend.

Very nice!!! That 6:33 pace down is insanely fast!!! Impressive! :)

Burt - apparently she has. She's one of those people that can't get heavy no matter how hard they try.

Vinh - not sure on the average incline. There are some very steep parts (8%-10%) but generally around 2%-4% I think.

Teena - would be impressive if I was clocking 6:30s on a flat route but down hill not so much so;)...someday.
