I got some desperately needed sleep last night and it did me a world of good. I woke up anxious to get my running shoes on, which didn't occur until 3:30 pm. Started the run at about a 8:30 pace and by the time I hit the 3/4 mile mark I was at a 7:52 pace, which felt comfortable to maintain the rest of the run (with the exception of a bathroom break). Heart rate stayed in Zone 3. It looks like my body is rebounding from Sunday's run. |
